What are the hours of the chamber? We are open Monday – Thursday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. We are closed for major holidays.

Does my business need to be in Burleson? No. While the majority of our members are in the Burleson area, we have members from all over the country. If you would like to reach the community and businesses of the Burleson area, then a membership in the Burleson Area Chamber of Commerce is just what you need.

Do you have a visitor center at the chamber? Yes, the visit center is located in the lobby of the chamber. It is open 24 hours a day and contains city maps, phonebooks, local publications, local business information, and much more. |

What County is Burleson in? Burleson is located in both Johnson and Tarrant Counties. |

My business is a one-person operation. Do I join? Individual memberships are geared toward people who want to connect through the Chamber, but don’t actually have businesses. While you’re welcome to join as an individual; individual memberships are not listed in the membership directory. This is reserved for commercial members. If you are joining the Chamber to help promote your business, you want to join as a commercial member. |

How do I serve on an event committee? If you haven’t done so already, you’ll need to be a Chamber member to serve on any of the Chamber’s event committees. Click Here if you need an application. If you’re already a member, just call the Chamber at 817-295-6121 and ask for Mary. She helps coordinate all of the Chamber’s events. |

Where is Johnson County Sub-Courthouse? The Sub-Courthouse is located at 247 Elk Drive right off of Wilshire Blvd. From the Chamber parking lot: turn right onto 174. Make a right at the first light. You’ll find the Sub-Courthouse on your left across from Burleson High School. Click Here for a map. |

What networking events are available? The Chamber is affiliated with five networking groups that meet weekly*. We also host a monthly after hours networking event and seasonal luncheons/dinners. While the weekly & monthly networking is open, our seasonal luncheons & dinners are benefits exclusively offered to our Chamber members. For details on networking events call the Chamber at 817-295-6121.
*Please note that while the Chamber promotes the weekly networking groups and considers them to be Chamber affiliates, each is independently operated. The Chamber has no control over the group's operations. |

Where is the chamber located? We are located at 1044 SW Wilshire Blvd. From I-35: Take the exit for Hwy 174 (Wilshire Blvd.) You’ll see the Chamber on your right shortly after the light for Hidden Creek Rd. Most of the time you’ll see yellow school buses right before the turn. If you get to the light for Elk Dr. you just missed it. Click Here for map & directions. |

What does a Chamber of Commerce do? While we can’t speak for other Chambers, the quick answer is that the Burleson Area Chamber of Commerce acts as hub to connect businesses, the City of Burleson, and the community as a whole together. We are a source of information for those looking for products and service providers, a referral source for our members, a communications outlet for the City of Burleson, and much more. When you need information about anything in the Burleson area call the Chamber at 817-295-6121. If we don’t know the answer we can probably direct you to someone who does.

What events does the Chamber put on? The Chamber has five big events each year: The Chamber Gala, The Honey Tour Bike Ride, New BISD Employee Luncheon, Taste of Burleson, & The Chamber Golf Tournament. We work in conjunction with the City of Burleson on events that include: The Farmer’s Market, Cinco de Mayo, and Boo-Fest for Halloween. We also partner with many of our local non-profits & businesses to help them promote their events. |

Why should I get involved in Chamber events? The best way to get the most from your Chamber membership is to get involved. The committees for Chamber events are made up of a wide variety of business owners and possible connections for you. While we can’t guarantee serving on a Chamber committee will bring you business, we can guarantee that participating in Chamber events will connect you to more business opportunities than waiting for the phone to ring. |

I would like to do business as a vendor for the Burleson Area Chamber of Commerce. How do I go about it? If you aren’t already a member of the Chamber, you’ll need to join. If you are/were a Chamber member, but your membership has lapsed, you’ll need to bring your membership current before we can use your services. The Chamber supports our members first and foremost. There are a few occasions when the Chamber has worked with non-member vendors, but this is only as a last resort. When the Chamber needs any products or services we look to our current membership first. |

Do you offer defensive driving? Yes. Defensive Driving is offered at the Chamber on the 2nd Saturday of each month in the Chamber conference room. Classes are taught by one of our members: Speed of Life. You must pre-register to attend. Speed of Life handles all registration. You can reach them by phone at 817-341-7384

Where is the Burleson Independent School District The BISD administration office is located at 1160 SW Wilshire Blvd right next to The Chamber of Commerce. When you turn off of Wilshire you’ll see the driveway forks. Take the left fork to go to the administration office. Take the right fork to go to the Chamber. |

What waste management service does Burleson use? IESI collects all solid waste for residents of the City of Burleson. Community Waste Disposal collects all recycling. |
