Our Purpose


At The Burleson Chamber Its More Than Just Business In a nutshell, the Burleson Area Chamber of Commerce serves as the “glue” that holds the City of Burleson, the people of the Burleson area, and the businesses that serve them together. If you need to know about something that’s going on in the area, the Chamber can probably help. If we don’t have the information, we can point you in the right direction or show you how to find the answers.

Exponential Growth Of Burleson

The extraordinary growth the City of Burleson has experienced has made it one of the fastest growing communities in the area. The city has truly seen a population explosion in recent years, growing by over 58% since the year 2000. It is projected the city will continue to grow; bringing great opportunities for businesses to locate or expand in the Burleson area. Some of the economic growth can be attributed to the low property tax environment Burleson offers you. The City of Burleson covers over 24 square miles, with approximately 1,438 acres of land available for economic expansion. Not only has Burleson experienced staggering growth in recent years, Johnson and Tarrant Counties have also seen a 19% increase in population since 2000. With a population of over 6 million, the DFW Metroplex is the 4^th largest metropolitan area in the United States. The economic possibilities this area offers are endless.

Revitalized Old Town District

The DFW Metroplex is home to a number of universities and community colleges. Among them are Texas Wesleyan University and Hill College; each of which has campuses located in Burleson. Texas Wesleyan maintains a 12:1 student to faculty ratio and offers an extensive variety of educational opportunities ranging from business to computer science. Texas Wesleyan is recognized as one of the top private schools in the state and offers you fantastic student life, athletics, education, and post graduation opportunities.
